Cabin Baggage

Additional fees may apply if connecting to an international itinerary.

Transport of Strollers, Wheelchairs, or Mobility Aids

  • Special Equipment for Passengers with Reduced Mobility:
These must stay with the passenger or be easily and immediately accessible at transfer points and destinations.

  • Wheelchairs or Mobility Devices in the Cabin:
Passengers traveling with their own folding wheelchair or assistive device may request to have it transported in the cabin if storage space is available. Requests will be handled on a “first-come, first-served” basis.

    • If storage is unavailable, the wheelchair or device will be loaded into the baggage hold, where it will be easily accessible for quick return to the passenger.
  • Crutches, Canes, and Other Walking Aids:
If stored in a designated area in the cabin, the user should be seated nearby to ensure quick access when needed.

Oversized and Heavy Baggage

  • Only baggage that is properly closed and protects its contents from damage will be accepted for check-in.
  • Lightweight cardboard boxes, paper bags, and other non-durable materials will not be accepted. If the passenger insists, such items may be accepted with “Limited Release Tags,” releasing Air Congo from liability for damage.
  • Items that could damage other baggage will be refused unless properly packed.
  • Extremely bulky or oversized baggage must be shipped as cargo.

Baggage Allowance for Infants

A. Weight Concept

  • An infant without a seat is entitled to a free baggage allowance of 10 kg.
  • Additionally, a fully collapsible stroller may be carried in the cabin, subject to available space.

B. Piece Concept

  • Infants paying 10% of the applicable fare (without an assigned seat) are entitled to one checked baggage piece weighing up to 10 kg, with total dimensions not exceeding 45 inches (115 cm).
  • A fully collapsible stroller may also be carried in the cabin, subject to available space.
